Summary:
Gas tank uses a 1975-up type petcock with nut and has a fuel capacity of 6.0 gallons. Accepts screw in bung style caps. Features left side petcock outlet. Tanks accept stock dash and speedometer, and accept screw style bung type caps. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check petcock opening, making sure the petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during paint ing for easy installation of petcock. All Tanks or tank sets will require hand fitting to give correct alignment for dash and fuel line fitment. Dash will also have to be shimmed when installed to achieve correct height. *Note: UPS may consider this part as packaged " oversize" for shipment, as compared to the actual weight, which will result in higher shipping costs.
