Summary:
Bobbed two piece, 5 gallon gas tank features a left side forward male petcock fitting. Accepts early wing type petcock with nut. Tank set will accept: Stock dash, Stock speedometer, Two vented gas caps. Features welded on emblem mounts which are 1/2" lower than on replica tanks to accept 1966-72 style emblems. Mounts measure 6-5/8" center to center. All tanks or tank sets will require hand fitting for correct dash alignment and fuel line fitment. Dash will need to be shimmed to achieve correct height during installation. It is suggested to clean inside, pressure test, and use a tank sealer. We suggest using a Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition and seal in order to prevent leaking and corrosion. *Note: Carefully check the tank for flaws and fit before painting! Do not grind or sand the joints. *Note: UPS may consider this part as packaged " oversize" for shipment, as compared to the actual weight, which will result in higher shipping costs.
