Summary:
Bobbed gas tank accepts a left side petcock and has a fuel capacity of 2.3 gallons. Tank includes mounting hardware. Features a raw finish without the gas cap. Tank is for EFI use only. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and usse a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition, and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check petcock opening, making sure the petcock can be easily installed. petcock fitting should be maked or plugged during painting for easy installation of petcock. Order vented bung cap separately. Relocation of the ignition coil may be required on some models, to do so order motor mount separately. *Note: UPS may consider this part as packaged " oversize" for shipment, as compared to the actual weight, which will result in higher shipping costs.
